The Aladdin Library will be expanded to include translations of reference works from Arabic and Persian, in order that they can be more widely known and thus contribute to this process of inter-cultural dialogue.

The launch conference of May 27 th 2009 marks the first stage of the Aladdin Project. In a reciprocal gesture, translations of Arabic and Persian reference works are also planned.

The Aladdin Project was initiated in 2009 by the FMS as an independent educational and cultural programme.
